My philosophy
As a people, we’ve become separated from our body. Whether through trauma, stress, illness, or just lack of time, often we find ourselves in a place where it’s us (the person) and it (the body). This is completely understandable, and at the same time, rekindling the relationship with our body is necessary for a life well-lived. To go from “me vs my body” to “we’re in it together”, where the relationship with our body is loving and symbiotic rather than adversarial or indifferent. This is so much easier said than done, but therapeutic and compassionate touch can help.
Maybe it’s calming down our nervous system through deeply soothing strokes, more targeted deep work to address injury and overwork, or becoming accustomed again to feeling good in our bodies, touch has the power to transport us to a different place and restore the mind-body connection.
I would like to be your partner and facilitator on this journey of rediscovery and can’t wait to work with you.
